Producer Firoz Nadiadwala Jailed For Nonpayment Of Tax

The Bollywood high-profile film producer who has produced movies such as Welcome and Hera Pheri has been booked under the Income Tax Act for not paying Rs 8.56 Lakh as TDS for the fiscal year 2009-2010. The producer has been sentenced to 3 month of rigorous imprisonment.
Although the exact reason for non-payment wasn’t clear, on being contacted the producer refused to comment or give any explanation. His next movie will be based on the call center scam of Mira Road.
