PV Sindhu Wants Deepika Padukone To Portray Her in Her Biopic

While actor Sonu Sood has bought the rights to make Badminton champion PV Sindhu’s biopic, the star athlete herself is very excited to see her story on the big screen. She has conveyed her wish to see Padmaavat actress Deepika Padukone play her role. The BWF 2019 gold medal winner, has shared that she thinks the Bajirao Mastani actress plays badminton herself, being the daughter of Badminton legend Prakash Padukone and will fit the bill perfectly.

 

Also, Sonu Sood is keen on playing the role of PV Sindhu’s coach Pullela Gopichand. The star cast and other details will be announced soon. Meanwhile another Badminton star Saina Nehwal’s biopic is under way, where actress Parineeti Chopra will be playing the lead role.
