R Madhavan’s Directorial Debut Film Rocketry: The Nambi Effect To Release Theatrically This July

It’s been quite a while since Bollywood actor R Madhavan announced his directorial debut film Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. Fans have been eager to watch the film and see the Tanu Weds Manu actor in a very different avatar. The talented 3 Idiots actor took to his social media page to finally announce the release date of his upcoming film with a teaser poster and wrote, “for all your love and good wishes.”

 

Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is based on former scientist and aerospace engineer of the Indian Space Research Organisation, Nambi Narayanan, who was wrongly accused of leaking sensitive information. The film was earlier scheduled to release on 1st April but due to the surge in covid cases was postponed. 

 

The film also stars Simran Bagga, Rajit Kapur, Ravi Raghavendra, Misha Ghoshal, Gulshan Grover, Karthik Kumar and Dinesh Prabhakar, and features Shah Rukh Khan and Suriya in a guest appearance. Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is written and directed by R Madhavan who also plays the lead role. It is produced by TriColour films , Varghese Moolan Pictures and 27th Investments, and will release in Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada on 1st July 2022.
