R S Prasanna Shares Some Insights About Sitaare Zameen Par

This upcoming film is scheduled to release in theatres on 20th June, 2025. While it has generated a lot of buzz amongst the audiences, especially after the release of its trailer in the month of May. However, the film faced some criticism because it had some similarities with the international film ‘Champions,’ which was a remake of the Spanish drama film ‘Campeones.’

R S Prasanna’s Experience About The Making Of  ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’

In a formal conversation with ANI, the filmmaker recalled his connection with ‘Taare Zameen Par’ and said, ‘It is a very special film because it has quite a lot of humor, laughter, and happiness, but the core emotion has arrived from Taare  Zameen Par. The mindset and the thoughts had begun with that film. I hope that this film will take on that thought and mindset in a new direction. As we started the film’s production, I kept on referencing Sitaare Zameen Par. Aamir Sir and I often discussed scenes from that film. One day, he suggested that we must view Sitaare Zameen Par as an extension of that emotion. It was a very natural progression.'

The previous film of Aamir Khan was ‘Laal Singh Chaddha,’ wherein he shared the screen with Kareena Kapoor Khan. However, this film didn’t meet with the audience’s expectations. Meanwhile, the fans are quite hopeful that ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ will mark a successful comeback for the actor.
