Rab Ne Vo Jodi Mere Liye Nahi Banayi Admits A Lonely Karan Johar

Filmmaker Karan Johar recently was a guest at the last episode of tennis pro Sania Mirza’s show. The duo spoke heart to heart on various topics from being a single parent to the quest for love. Karan Johar is said to have admitted that he is lonely mainly during meal times. That he has made peace with himself of being single.

When asked about having a partner, Karan replied he is okay with not having one and there was a point when he wanted love and companionship. A relationship but he expressed he had gone through all kinds of dynamics with a broken heart and one-sided love. That he even made a film on it. The liberating on making the film helped him to heal.

Karan on his mother, his plans for going abroad and his two children.

Karan said at one point he had even planned to go abroad but where can he when he has his mother and two lovely children here. He said he has to live here for them even though it tends to get lonely here.

Karan also expressed the loneliest is in your highs not in your lows. And eating alone . Though the actor producer has resigned to the fact that he is going to be single and claims that never say never and stretch your hands wide like Shah Rukh Khan is famous for !

Karan Johar tells Best Love Stories

He was asked how he had always told the best love stories through his films but unfortunately did not have one for himself, he stated Rab Ne vo jodi mere liye nahi banayi. He said God hasn’t made that partner for him !

He shared his father was producer Yash Johar who died in 2024. He shares a very close relationship with his mother Hiroo Johar with whom he lives in Mumbai with his two children. He has had two children through surrogacy . Yash and Roohi . His last film direction was for Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani in 2023 starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt.
