One of the bold and elegant actress named Radhika Apte is all set to make her directorial debut with the new film titled 'Koyta'.

This project was unraveled by Radhika Apte as a crucial part of the second edition of the 'Cinevesture International Film Festival'(CIFF) as per a report published by Variety. Also, it's lineup includes a huge array of about twenty-two projects of various aspiring and popular filmmakers from across the globe.

About the film, it would be of the 'action-fantasy' genre and its plot would focus upon the life of a sugarcane cutter who undergoes a medical treatment and then acquires some inhumane powers which he uses in order to free his family from the prolonged debts.

Some other projects include Hansal Mehta's 'Hanere De Panchi' (Birds In Dark) which is a drama releasing in Punjabi, Urdu and Kashmiri language and Nandita Das' "Avi & Smi" which will be releasing in Hindi and English languages respectively.
