Rakul Preet Singh went to dingy bars to get her character right in Marjaavaan

Actors these days go to great lengths to get into the skin of their character they are playing. From shedding weight, putting on weight, going bald to interviewing real people, most have mastered it all to play their role convincingly. Another talented actress who is slowly ruling the roost is Rakul Preet Singh. After her brilliant performance opposite Ajay Devgn in De De Pyaar De, the actress is all set to show her acting prowess in the upcoming action-drama film Marjaavaan. The Aiyaary actress who plays the role of a sex worker named Arzoo visited a lot of dance bars to get the mannerisms of her character right.

 

Rakul even learned belly dancing as well as aerial yoga to prep for her role in the movie. Marjaavaan is directed by Milap Zaveri and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Nikkhil Advani. The film will hit the big screens today.
