Billed as the first-of-its-kind franchise-based archery tournament, APL will bring together leading men and women recurve and compound archers from India and abroad. With six franchise teams featuring 36 top Indian archers and 12 international athletes, including names from the world’s top 10, the league introduces a dynamic format where recurve and compound archers will compete together under lights — a global first for the sport.
Ram Charan expressed his excitement, saying that archery embodies discipline, focus, and resilience, values he resonates with deeply. He added that the league will not only give Indian talent a world-class platform but also put a global spotlight on the sport.
