Rana Daggubati walks out of Bhuj: The Pride of India

The Ajay Devgn starrer Bhuj: The Pride of India is one of the most eagerly awaited war films with a stellar star cast. However the film has been facing some problems of late when two stars have opted out of the film. First, Jabariya Jodi actress Parineeti Chopra walked out of the movie due to date issues on her prior commitments. Now actor Rana Daggubati has opted out of the movie. It is reported that the Housefull 4 actor had health concerns that forced him to back out of the ambitious project. He was to play the role of a lieutenant colonel of Madras regiment, which would require him to perform some intense action scenes for the film. Some date issues might have also been the reasons behind his exit.

Rana Daggubati will next be seen in the multilingual film titled Haathi Mere Saathi, which was previously slated to release in 2018 but got pushed to releasing in January 2020. The film is said to be a tribute to actor Rajesh Khanna but will have a different storyline than the original movie.
