Shark Tank has been one of the most successful American Television reality shows. The show’s concept is that a panel of five investors called Sharks listen to the business presentation of new entrepreneurs. The best and most innovative ideas are then invested into by the panel of investors. Sony TV has now adapted the show in India for its audiences and youth icon Rannvijay Singha has been signed on to play the host. The show has a massive fan following all over the world and bringing it to Indian audiences will add to the country’s entertainment repertoire. 

 

Talking about the show Rannvijay said, “Being a part of a revolutionary show like Shark Tank India is the most thrilling experience for me. I have been an ardent fan of the global version of Shark Tank since many years and have always enjoyed watching this along with my family. I always believed that if a show like Shark Tank comes to India, it would help uplift so many business aspirants here. Shark Tank India’s panel of investors will include Ashneer Grover, founder and managing director of Bharat Pe, Vineeta Singh, CEO and co-founder of SUGAR Cosmetics, Peyush Bansal, founder and CEO of Lenskart.com, Namita Thapar, executive director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals, Anupam Mittal, founder and CEO of Shaadi.com, Ghazal Alagh, co-founder and chief mama of Mamaearth, Aman Gupta, co-founder and chief marketing officer of boAt.
