Ranveer Singh All Set To Shoot The Climax Of ’83 In Lord’s

After the World Cup 2019 comes to an end, makers of upcoming Bollywood cricket based movie 83’ will shoot the final World Cup match of 1983. The Kabir Khan directorial has an ensemble cast which includes Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Pankaj Tripathi, Saqib Saleem, Hardy Sandhu, Tahir Raj Bhasin and many more.

 

Ranveer Singh will play the lead role of the then Indian Cricket team captain Kapil Dev, while Deepika Padukone will play his wife Romi Dev. The cast and crew is currently in England shooting for the rest of the important scenes in the film. Once the World Cup is scheduled to be over on 14 July, the team will begin filming at the Lord’s Cricket stadium in UK.
