Ranveer Singh To Play The Lead In The Hindi Remake Of Tamil Hit ‘Anniyan’

It’s been a while since we had heard that South filmmaker Shankar was keen on working with Bollywood firebrand Ranveer Singh. Now the news has been made official that the duo are rightly working in the Hindi remake of the Tamil blockbuster ‘Anniyan’. The film will be made on a grand scale and will most likely go on floors in mid 2021. The original film is a psychological thriller and was released in 2005. The Gully Boy actor took to his Twitter account to share the news with fans and wrote, “Proudly announcing my collaboration with the pioneering visionary of Indian Cinema, the maverick master craftsman SHANKAR.”

 

Anniyan remake will be produced by Dr. Jayantilal Gada. Ranveer Singh will next be seen in Rohit Shetty’s comedy caper Cirkus and later in Kabir Khan’s sports drama ’83.
