The duo, Aneet Padda and Vishal Jethwa are set to reunite on the upcoming horror comedy Shakti Shalini. The Maddock Horror Comedy Universe is scheduled to go on floors from March 2026 and the release is slated for end of the year. 

Aneet Padda and Vishal Jethwa were last seen together in Salaam Venky in 2022 followed by Saiyaara which had further boosted Aneet Padda’s popularity as a lead actress. The much-awaited reunion of the two stars is already creating quite a buzz within the film industry circle. 

Vishal Jethwa fresh off from the critical acclaimed film Homebound will be playing Aneet Padda’s romantic partner in the film. The next chapter in Maddock’s horror comedy genre has been confirmed officially after the end of the credits of the film Thamma. 

Shakti Shalini evolved since their earlier collaboration together. 

Maddock Film’s upcoming horror comedy universe, titled Shakti Shalini is likely a character essayed by actress Aneet Padda alongside Vishal Jethwa in the star cast as her love interest.  The female led action drama is expected to explore themes of power and resilience. Joining in the popular horror comedy franchise with a strong and action narratives, both actors have significantly evolved with their respecting roles since their earlier collaborations.   

Fans are expecting a refreshed chemistry and dynamics of the pair ever since Vishal’s growing profile after his film Homebound that earned recognition for the shortlisted entry at the Oscar’s final nominations.
