After the big success of his Marathi directorial debut, Ved, Riteish Deshmukh, who was in the past a named star in Bollywood, returns with Raja Shivaji, a historical drama that goes beyond the popular figure of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to explore the legendary legacy of a man often considered the cultural pride of Maharashtra and India’s national legacy.
