Rituparna Dances At Park Street Nightclub As 'Goodbye Mountain' Gears Up For Release

Rituparna Sengupta returned to her roots on Park Street as she danced and celebrated the music launch of her upcoming film Goodbye Mountain at Tantra, one of Kolkata’s most iconic nightclubs.

Once the heart of Tollywood parties, Tantra saw a rare gathering of celebrities for Indrashis Acharya’s romantic drama starring Rituparna and Indranil Sengupta.

Dressed in a graceful saree, Rituparna looked radiant as songs from the film were showcased at the venue. Also present was classical vocalist Swagatlakshmi Dasgupta. Though not a regular partygoer, Rituparna said, 'I stay away from alcohol, but I enjoy being with friends. My home is nearby on Robinson Street, so Park Street always feels nostalgic I used to come to the cake shop here as a child.'

Indranil Sengupta, who is returning to the big screen after Puratan, shared that the film was shot some time ago but holds a special, fresh appeal. Goodbye Mountain explores a tender love story in the backdrop of serene hills. Rituparna noted, 'Love is disappearing in today’s world I hope this story reminds people of its beauty.'

The film is set to release this Friday, and with its heartfelt music and soulful theme, it promises to strike an emotional chord with audiences.
