Saand Ki Aankh screened for Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu

Lead actress Bhumi Pednekar and Taapsee Pannu, of the upcoming Bollywood film Saand Ki Aankh, held a special screening for the Indian Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu. The film is based on India’s oldest sharp shooters Prakashi Tomar and Chandro Tomar. Mr Naidu appreciated the actresses efforts made in the film and was impressed with their performances. He later tweeted “Conveyed my best wishes to the entire team of Saand Ki Aankh. The movie realistically depicted the manner in which the two sharp-shooters overcame all odds and became symbols of women empowerment.”

 

The Vice President also shared a few pictures on his social media page of the film’s team along with the real sharp shooters Prakashi and Chandro Tomar, on whom the film is based. Taapsee Pannu will next be seen in the sports drama Rashmi Rocket, while Bhumi Pednekar will be seen in Pati Patni Aur Woh opposite Kartik Aaryan.
