Well known film and TV actor Salim Ghouse left for his heavenly abode, following a massive cardiac arrest in Mumbai. He was 70. ‘The Family Man’ actor Sharib Hashmi payed his last respects to the Saaransh actor on twitter and wrote, “Pehli baar #SalimGhouse Sahab ko tv serial #Subah mein dekha tha! Aur unka kaam behadd laajavaab laga tha !! Unki awaaz.” 

 

Salim has been part of popular Bollywood films like Chakra, Mohan Joshi Hazir Ho! Manthan, Kalyug, Trikal, Aghaat, Drohi, Thiruda Thiruda, Sardari Begum, Koyla, Soldier, Aks, and several others. Even on Television, Ghouse has been a well known face with roles like Rama, Krishna and Tipu Sultan in Shyam Benegal’s TV Series Bharat Ek Khoj. He has also been a part of the sitcom Wagle Ki Duniya in 1988.
