After earning a widespread appreciation for his powerful performance in Saiyaara, Shaan R. Grover is all set to surprise the audience in his next film titled Flower Waali. A unique period dram with a fascinating time travel twist in the film that that actor officially revealed.
The actor shared his excitement about the project revealing that Flower Waali is set in the period of 1850 and blends with the historical narrative with elements of time travel in the content. The film is directed by Kamal Chandra while actress Chandralekha Mukherjee plays the female lead, essaying the titular role of Flower Waali or Flower Girl.
About Flower Waali
The makers have extensively shot the film in picturesque locations of Khajuraho and Panna in Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh. Shaan said the film has been demanding for its authenticity in its heritage that should reflects the charm of the old world hence the choice of locations. He was all praise for the untouched beauty of Panna and the magnificent temples of Khajuraho and the historical moments that have complimented the film’s storytelling and the period setting.
The actor has been fascinated by the breathtaking landscapes and the warmth of the local people which he describes as an unforgettable experience.
Director Kamal Chandra known for his films like Ab Dilli Dur Nahin released in 2023, Hamarae Baarah in 2024, is once again gearing up for the release of Aryabhaat Ka Zero which is slated for its release next month before his Flower Waali will release to the audience.
Meanwhile Chandralekha Mukherjee is known for her performance for the popular television show, RadhaKrishn and has been a part of Crime Patrol. She is expected to bring grace and depth to the intriguing period romance.
