Salman Khan Turns Soldier In Patriotic War Drama Battle Of Galwan

Superstar Salman Khan has revealed the motion poster of his upcoming film Battle of Galwan, based on the 2020 clash between Indian and Chinese troops in eastern Ladakh. The film is a tribute to the bravery of Indian soldiers who fought without firearms at extreme altitudes.

In the intense motion poster, Salman appears in an army uniform with a bloodstreaked face, a stern expression, and a gritty presence.

The poster carries the line, 'Some battles don’t need bullets to be won,' setting the patriotic and emotional tone of the film.

Salman Khan will portray the late Colonel Santosh Babu, who led the 16 Bihar Regiment during the deadly faceoff and was posthumously awarded the Maha Vir Chakra. The role marks a serious shift in Salman’s screen image, and he is reportedly undergoing physical and low oxygen training to authentically portray the part.

Based On Real 2020 Galwan Clash

Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film will also feature Chitrangda Singh in a key role. The story is inspired by a chapter from the book India’s Most Fearless 3 and aims to bring real events to life with emotional depth and cinematic impact.

Filming begins in July, with key schedules planned in Ladakh and Mumbai.
