Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Inshallah shelved

Fans were eagerly awaiting to see Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt on screen together for the very first time, but it seems that wish would have to wait longer than expected. The Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial has been put to a standstill as per sources. Although only the first part of the script was narrated to Salman, the second half wasn’t ready. It would be a very different film compared to what the Bharat star is used to doing.

 

The news came as a shocker even to the leading lady Alia Bhatt as she was prepping hard for her part. She was even busy rehearsing for her solo song and a grand set was built at Mehboob studios, but it was asked to be pulled down. Although the makers had announced a possible December 2020 release, no further confirmation has been made.
