Sequel Of Rowdy Rathore In The Making

The 2012 Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha starrer Rowdy Rathore, went on to become a massive commercial success despite critics not being very kind to it. Now there is great news for its fans, a sequel to the movie is being produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali under his banner SLB Films, once again. The film will star Akshay Kumar in the lead but the actress isn’t yet confirmed.

 

The first Rowdy Rathore was directed by Prabhu Deva but for the sequel a new director will be bought on board. The film was a Hindi remake of the Telugu film Vikramrkudu, which released in 2006. In January last year the Kesari actor had expressed his desire to have a remake of his 2012 hit and now finally the movie will see the light of the day.
