Shah Rukh Khan visits UK rehearsals of Come Fall in Love, the Broadway-bound musical inspired by DDLJ, delighting cast and crew. The King of Romance meets the spirit of Broadway: SRK meets the next-gen Raj.
'Come Fall in Love,' new age DDLJ
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan surprised the cast and crew of Come Fall in Love—The DDLJ Musical with an impromptu visit to their rehearsals in the UK. Aditya Chopra will direct the musical, which revisits the 1995 romance Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, marking his Broadway debut.

Khan, who also originally played 'Raj' in the first film, reminisced with the actors and complimented the production's creative thrust and energy. The musical attempts to incorporate Bollywood sentimentality with Broadway spectacle, where it brings in a new character, 'Rog,' a reinterpretation of the original Raj.
Khan's appearance created buzz among both fans and artists, a testament to the enduring popularity of DDLJ and its global appeal. The musical is set to premiere in America later this year.
The visit lent a sentimental value to the rehearsal, bridging the past and present of a film legacy.
