Shikhar Pahariya Donates One Thousand Books To IPS Officer Birdev Dhone's Village Library Initiative

In a powerful gesture of solidarity, Shikhar Pahariya has donated one thousand books to support the newly appointed IPS officer Birdev Dhone's inspiring grassroots effort of building a library in his native village for students preparing for the competitive exams.


Birdev's Struggling Journey


Birder recently went viral for asking his well-wishers to send books instead of the bouquets, which was quite a very heartfelt appeal that resonated across the country. Moreover, Shikhar appreciated his vision and responded quickly by sending him a large consignment of educational and preparatory books in order to support the initiative.


Birdev had came from a very humble backgrounds and before he cracked the UPSC exams, he had worked as a postman during 2020-2021, while nurturing his dream of clearing the UPSC exams. Later, he moved on to Delhi in order to prepare for the exams and during this journey, he faced massive financial struggles but he always determined himself to back his dream with perseverance. Thus, at the age of twenty-seven years, he became an IPS officer in his very first attempt.
