Singer Geeta Mali dies in road mishap

Well-known Marathi singer Geeta Mali passed away on Thursday after she had a horrific accident on the Mumbai-Agra highway. The devotional film singer was travelling to her hometown after she landed from America and the car she and her husband were sitting in rammed into a parked container. The accident took place at 3 pm near Shahapur. Her husband Vijay is gravely injured and recuperating while Geeta died during treatment.

 

Geeta Mali has sung many devotional songs like the Durga Gayatri Mantra, Ganesh Gayatri Mantra, Shiv Gayatri Mantra and many more. The actress after landing in India posted a selfies on her social media page over the joy of returning after nearly 2 month in the US. She performed at a musical event hosted by International Film Festival in New York.
