Soha Ali Khan Offered Marathi Films

The Rang De Basanti actress who has previously worked in Bengali films like Antarmahal and Iti Srikanta, says she has been offered Marathi films too but due to not being bale to speak the language well she is not confident to do them. Even in Benagli Cinema, she says most of her characters were almost mute and hardly spoke so it was easier for her to play them.

 

The actress says regional cinema is the true essence of our country and there are some fantastic directors directing movies there. She has however done only Hindi, Bengali and English movies so far. But if the character doesn’t have too many lines she might think about Marathi movies too.
