Marathi actress Sonalee Kulkarni is no stranger to playing historic roles. She has previously played the titular role of Hirkani in the movie. The actress will now be seen in another iconic role playing the legendary role of ‘Chhatrapati Tararani’ in the movie with the same name. The film is based on a book written by great historical writer Dr. Jaysingrao Pawar, titled ‘Mughal Mardini Maharani Tarabai’.

 

Chatrapati Tarani is a story of the unsung female warrior Maharani Tarabai and is directed by Rahul Jadhav. The rest of the film’s cast is yet to be revealed. Going by the look of the very first poster, we can say this movie will be one worth waiting for.
