One of the beautiful and classical actresses, ‘Sonali Bendre,’ expressed her feelings about the various struggles and challenges of her journey, wherein she single-handedly battled with stage four metastatic cancer for a major time period of three years from 2018 to 2021.

Sonali Bendre recently went to the ‘Amazon ElevateHER 2025’ event, which was organised by Amazon India in order to celebrate International Women’s Day. This event was arranged with the motive to empower women from all over the world by providing them with various programs such as Catapult, Ask Me Anything, and Listening Circles, which aimed to provide women with various opportunities to upscale their careers. This event was organised in Bangalore on Friday, and its theme was subtly aligned with this year’s global International Women’s Day and was named ‘Accelerate Action.’

While addressing the event, she said, ’Therapy helped me learn about self-love. As women, we have the habit of devoting our lives to our loved ones. But we have to keep up our enthusiasm, courage, and bravery in order to portray the various roles, be it the unconditional love of a mother, immense support of a sister, or any other role.”

Further, she shed light on her upcoming projects in which she may portray a significant role. She said in a very humorous way, 'The Amazon’s contracts are…my goodness! I guess my children would further have to look after the contracts if I ever retire in the future.'
