Sonu Nigam Paid A Musical Tribute To The Veteran Actor Dharmendra At His Prayer Meet

Family members and several from the film industry attended. Those that attended the prayer meet were Salman Khan, Rekha, Aishwarya Rai to Sonu Nigam to name a few. They all gathered under one roof to mark their respect to one of the most loved colleagues in the film industry.

Sonu Nigam rendered soulful songs in the actor’s remembrance which had emotionally moved everyone present there. The songs included a special spiritual segment that was played live in the memory of the great actor.

At the prayer meet singer Sonu Nigam paid a tribute by singing song tracks from films such as Main Kahin Kavi Na Ban Jau, Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, Apne Toh Apne Hote Hai, Ro Lene De and Yeh Dosti Hum Nahin Todenge. A live performance by singer Prithvi Gandharv also was a live performance for the prayer meet .

The Deol Family have kept the prayer meet private

Just as the Deol family had refrained from talking about Dharmendra’s health in public or his death was not announced to the public and kept it very private, so was his prayer meet which was a small gathering in the presence of his close ones . Dharmendra’s first wife Prakash Kaur along with Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, Ajeeta and Vijeta , their families and grand sons Karan and Rajveer. Abhay Deol, nephew of Dharmendra also attended with his family.

Despite keeping it a private affair, several pictures and videos have gathered and surfaced on the social media.
