Soorma 2 to be produced by Chitrangada Singh

After successfully producing her maiden venture Soorma starring Diljit Dosanjh and Taapsee Pannu, actress Chitrangada Singh is all set to produce the sequel and take the franchise ahead. The film will highlight the story of a real hero and have some intense emotions that the audiences will relate to. The star cast of Soorma 2 will pretty much be the same. The Desi Boyz actress is drawn to strong scripts and has locked in one for this one as well. The film is slated to go on floors very soon this year.

Soorma was based on the story of Hockey champion Sandeep Singh and also starred Angad Bedi in the leading role. Taapsee Pannu will next be seen in another sports drama titled Rashmi Rocket while Diljit Dosanjh was last seen in the Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer Good  Newwz.
