Sound editor Nimish Pilankar passes away

Having worked as a sound editor in the recently released films Marjaavaan and Housefull 4, Nimish Pilankar had just about started off in his career but died at a very young age of 29. It was reported that the editor’s blood pressure suddenly shot up which lead to a brain haemorrhage. He had also worked in the Salman Khan starrer Race 3 last year. Long working hours and stress is reported as a possible reason for the tragic incident.


Mission Mangal actor Akshay Kumar who recently worked with Nimish Pilankar, in his hit movie Housefull 4 mourned his death and offered his condolences. He wrote, “ Very sad to learn about the passing away of Nimish Pilankar, that too at such a young age. My heart goes out to his family at this difficult time.”
