Srabanti Chatterjee is now in a new role. She is presenting her first Bengali film. The film is called 'Daanter Lorai'. The film is produced by Seven Horse Productions and directed by Biplob Kayal. 'Danter Lorai' is a social story set in a rural setting. The main character of the story is a girl named Khuku. The film's various emotional moments revolve around Khuku's life and small dreams.

What Did Srabanti Say?

Regarding the film, Srabanti said, 'In a word, Daanter Lorai is a heartwarming film. When director Biplob Koyal and his team offered to present this film, I watched the film, and I felt that it is a beautiful and thoughtful work that will touch people's hearts. So I decided to join this film. This is my first time working as a presenter, so I am going through a new experience.'

Child artist Akanksha Sengupta is the lead character 'Khuku' in the film. Here in the film, Abhilash Chakraborty is the dad, and Swastika Das is the mom. Then there’s Partha Ghatak, Chaitali Jana, and Bablu Banerjee—pretty solid crew, honestly!

The story and screenplay of the film are written by director Biplob Kayal himself. Bubai Halder is handling the camera and editing. The music of the film is composed by Subir Chatterjee. The film is releasing on the big screen on July 11.
