The much-awaited reunion was officially announced on Tuesday at a special Netflix event.   Both actors were notably absent from the title reveal event. 

‘Ikka’ marks Sunny Deol’s debut as well, with the gripping legal thriller that revolves around an incorruptible lawyer who is forced to defend a murder accused.    It’s an original thriller about a man whose career he once had destroyed and he bends backward with his own principles in a high-stake battle that he is pushed to take a decision between the right and the wrong.  The series will also feature Tillotama Shome and Dia Mirza in the key roles.

‘Ikka’ is slated for its release on Netflix very soon. 

The makers have described ‘Ikka’ as an intense face -off between the two arch rivals who are driven by an unresolved past and emotional scars.  The series promises a relentless thriller, packed with twists and clashes of raw emotions.  The theme also explores about a father who is desperate to protect his family even if it means striking a deal with the devil. 

The creators of the ‘ Ikka’; have thanked Netflix for the popular streaming platform to showcase their project and have expressed their gratitude.  Bringing together is also the stellar ensemble star cast of Sunny Deol ,  Akshaye Khanna, Tillotama Shome, Dia Mirza,  Sanjeeda and Jyoti.
