Thappad Poster Accused Of Plagiarism

After nitezens pointed out that the Vicky Kaushal starrer Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship poster was inspired from movie Jallikattu, now the Taapsee Pannu starrer Thappad is in trouble. The film’s recently released poster where the lead Mission Mangal actress can be seen given a slap, is copied from a Mexican movie called ‘After Lucia’. The similarities between the two actresses in their respective posters is strikingly similar and could land the former in troubled waters. The issue of plagiarism has been in Bollywood since a very long time.

 

Meanwhile the trailer of the movie Thappad has been hailed by many with positive responses. Some even said it to be a slap on Kabir Singh director Sandeep Vanga’s face for his comments on slapping women in his movie. Thappad will hit the big screens on 28th February 2020.
