The Hansal Mehta Directorial Film Starring Kartik Aaryan Has Been Put On Hold Indefinitely.

Filmmaker Hansal Mehta announced that he will soon be directing a film starring Kartik Aaryan. However, months after the announcement there has been no progress on the project. In fact, industry buzz claims that makers have now completely shifted focus from the venture. If this was not enough, the film has been almost shelved due to both Kartik and Hansal not having any dates for their joint venture.

The source added, Kartik and Hansal had planned to work together and had announced an untitled venture. However, the project has been continuously delayed, and now it looks like the film has been pushed indefinitely." Talking further about the delay, the source continues, “Kartik Aaryan has had a wonderful 2022, with the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Freddy making him one of the most sought-after talents today. Besides, Kartik already has Shehzada's hand. Hansal is very busy with Modern Love: Mumbai and he has Scam 2023 and a few other projects he is working on. So essentially the collaboration with both the director and the actor has been put on hold.

He says, "You can't say that the film has been shelved as both Kartik and Hansal are still keen to do the film. They will get it done when both have the time and date. But till then the film is on hold." Echoing a similar thought, a source close to the two says, "No, the film is very much ahead. It's just that neither of them has time to allocate for the project. "
