‘The Kashmiri Files’ To Be Vivek Agnihotri’s Next

‘The Tashkent Files’ director Vivek Agnihotri is now ready to work on his next film titled ‘The Kashmiri Files’, which will be based on the Kashmiri Pandits. The director wants to bring the plight of those people who were brutally murdered, raped and forced to leave their houses and run. Initially the ‘Hate Story’ director was planning a book on this human tragedy in Kashmir but decided to make a film instead.

 

The director has done an extensive research on the subject and is even planning to visit the Kashmiri Pandit refugees who have started their life afresh abroad, in Mumbai, Delhi, etc. and get the first hand account on what they were subjected to during that period. The movie which will have an ensemble cast is scheduled to go on floors in the next 6 months.
