For over seven decades, the historical mysteries in modern Indian History have evoked passion, debates and conspiracy on the sudden disappearance of Netaji Subash Chandra Bose. He was one of the pioneer architects of India’ s freedom struggle and the leader of the Azad Hind Fauj ( Indian National Army). Bose’s fate after August 18th, 1945 is unknown and has remained wrapped in official secrecy.

The Bose Files – Sach Ya Sazish film picks up right where the standard historical accounts leave on the fateful August 1th 1945 , a plane crash in Taiper.  Instead of focusing purely on Netaji’s pre-independence leadership, the narrative unfolds to a gripping investigative drama that delves into the secrecy surrounding for decades , post Netaji’s disappearance in 1945. 


The plot follows on a storyline that Veerali Prasad essayed by Apoorva Arora, a determined  young woman joins forces with Anu Gupta, a veteran researcher who has spent decades restoring together the classifieds and required files.  Drawing inspiration from the real-world archival work of researchers, Anuj Dhar and  Chandrachur Ghose, the duo embarks on a relentless quest in search of the truth. 


The unsealed government files, the forgotten testimonies, the intelligence records and the eye witness they gather while they uncover a web of conflicting evidence and state secrets. Their investigations directly challenge the long-established narratives which further raised profound questions about Netaji’s disappearance with a settled historical fact of modern India and its complex conspiracies.   


This Historical investigation period drama The Bose Files-Sach Ya Sazish is directed by Rajesh Gupta with the lead cast Yatin Karyekar , Apoorva Arora, Virendra Saxena , Amit Behl , Rajiv Kumar Aneja . The release date is scheduled for July 31st 2026.
