This Is Why ‘Scam 1992’ Did Not Win Any Awards at Filmfare OTT 2020

The web series Scam 1992 has been the point of talk ever since it released and has been called one of the best web series of 2020. People have also praised the performance of the lead actor Pratik Gandhi in the show. However many fans were left upset and angry when the recently held Filmfare OTT awards did not even mention the series. Director Hansal Mehta gave some clarity on that saying, the show was released after the cut off date of the awards thus didn’t make it to the winner’s list. 

Scam 1992 is the true story of stock broker Hansal Mehta, his rise and fall in the stock market and how he got involved in the securities scam. The series also stars Shreya Dhanwanthary, Satish Kaushik, among others.
