What sets this film apart is its quest to reclaim Azad’s real name Chandra Shekhar Sitaram Tiwari a name that rings no bell with most of the current generation.
New Film Focuses on Azad’s Real Name and Real Struggles
The movie is being produced by Tiwari Productions and directed by SK Tiwari, an actor, producer and director from Satna, Madhya Pradesh. Adhura Tere Bin, Na Poochunga Koi Sawaal, S.K. Tiwari’s old music videos. The latter came out on his TPS Music label, with vocals and composition by Piyush Shukla, co-starring Chandni Gupta. These books have garnered him a robust online fan base and critical acclaim.
Apart from Tiwari Sarkar, SK Tiwari is also developing web series such as Sorry, Kotwal and Daasi with actress Shweta Singh. Tiwari, whose father Shri Brijlal Tiwari was a venerable Vedic scholar and farmer, has worked his way up to make a mark in the Indian entertainment world.

Azad started his struggle against British imperialism as a 15-year-old, inspiring him to choose the last name ‘Azad,’ signifying ‘free.’ While several films have already portrayed his story including Shaheed (1965), 23rd March 1931: While there have been various adaptations like Shaheed (2002), The Legend of Bhagat Singh (2002), Shaheed-E-Azam (2002) and Shaheed Chandra Shekhar Azad (2020) Tiwari Sarkar, distinguishes itself with its more personal, authentic and lesser-known depiction, says writer-director SK Tiwari, who also stars as Azad in the film.
