Yash’s much awaited and anticipated film ‘Toxic’, continues its aggressive pre-release expansion with a significant development that Anil Thadani’s AA Films has acquired with the theatrical distribution rights. 


Toxic has got the theatrical rights across North India, Nepal which is further strengthening a nationwide reach beyond the southern territories for the film. 


This collaboration marks a high-profile reunion between Yash and AA Films, the banner that had successfully distributed KGF Chapter 1 and KGF Chapter 2 in the Hindi zone.  Though these films did not break box office records they had redefined the scope of Pan India cinema.   With Toxic the partnership is aimed to a greater height to scale up, backed by mutual trust and to share the craving for success driven c. 


Yash and Anil Thadani Partnership 


The Yash and Thadani association dates back to the original KGF where the duo played a pivotal role in shaping up their strategy.  The collaboration had become a landmark moment for the regional cinema, opening the doors in an unprecedented scale for South Indian films into the Hindi market scenario. 


The AA Film acquisition followed a string of massive pre release milestones for the film Toxic.  The film also became the first non-Telugu project to secure a landmark distribution rights to deal with the Sri Venkateswara Creations in the states Andhra Pradesh and Telangana circuit.   The overseas acquisition by Phars Films for its Indian language version followed as one of the biggest international deals ever for an Indian title.   Toxic is now building to be one of the most extensive distribution networks seen in the recent times.  


Anil Thadani is one of the most respected distributors of India cinema, known for bringing industries long before.  He has been instrumental in bringing blockbusters such as Baahubali, KGF chapters, Pushpa, Kantara and Kalki to the national audience to the Hindi cinema.

Written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas, directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film, Toxic : A Fairytale for Grown-Ups will be released simultaneously in Kannada and in English with dubbed version that will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil and few other languages strengthening its global vision. 


The film boasts of a stellar technical team that includes the National Award-winning Rajeev Ravi’s cinematography, music is composed by Ravi Basrur, production designer is TP Abid and editor is Ujwal Kulkarni.  


The action is collaborated with Hollywood action director JJ Perry alongside the National Award-winning action directors Anbariv and Kecha Khamphakdee.  Toxic is produced by Venkat K Narayana and Yash under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations.  Slated for its release worldwide on 19th March 2026 which coincides as one of the biggest cross-cultural events of the year, with festivities, such as Eid, Ugadi and Gudi Padwa.
