Upcoming Movie 'Sam Bahadur' Trailer Launch At The Manekshaw Centre
The trailer of the upcoming movie Sam Bahadur was released yesterday and it received much appreciation from the audience. The trailer launch event of Sam Bahadur took place at the Manekshaw Centre in New Delhi. The talented cast of the movie including Vicky Kaushal, Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh was presented at the event. General Manoj Pande, the Chief of Army Staff also attended the trailer launch.
The movie is based on the life of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, it emphasizes his love and commitment to the country. The movie is a tribute to Sam Manekshaw's sacrifices. He dedicated his life to the Indian Army for 4 decades and dealt brilliantly with five conflicts. Sam Manekshaw was the first general in the Indian Army to be appointed to the rank of Field Marshal.
The trailer received immense appreciation from viewers, especially Vicky Kaushal who nailed the character of Sam Mankeshwa. From his body language to fierce dialogue delivery Vicky Kaushal aces the role to the core. The movie is set in 1971 Indo-pak in which Manekshaw played a crucial role. Fatima Sana Sheikh plays then Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi. Sanya Malhotra is in a role of Silloo, the wife of Sam Mankeshaw. Sam Bahadur also features, Neeraj Kabi, Edward Sonnenblick (as Lord Mountbatten), Richard Bhakti Klein (as Ambassador Keating), Saqib Ayub (as Captain Attiqur Rahman), and Krishna Kant Singh Bundela (as Subedar Gurbaksh Singh).
Sanya Malhotra took her instagram to share some moments from the trailer launch event in Delhi. The first story shared by her features Vicky Kaushal dressed in a blue suit posing next to the portrait of Sam Manekshaw. In the second story, Sanya shared a picture of her posing with Vicky Kaushal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and the director, Meghna Gulzar. She ended the series of stories with a short clip from the trailer launch.
Sam Bahadur will be released in the theatres on December 1. Sam Bahadur is written by Bhavani Iyer, Shantanu Shrivastava, and Meghna Gulzar. And is directed by Meghna Gulzar. The movie is produced under the banner of RSVP Movies.
