Upendra Sidhaye To Make His Directorial Debut With ‘Girlfriend’

The upcoming Marathi film ‘Girlfriend’ will mark the directorial debut of writer Upendra Sidhaye. He is previously written the screenplay of Mumbai Meri Jaan and also the Hindi version of Drishyam. Girlfriend will feature actors Amey Wagh and Sai Tamhankar in the lead. The two actors will be sharing screen space together for the first time. 

 

The film’s story revolves around Nachiket, played by Amey Wagh who is desperately looking for a girlfriend and finds one in Alisha, played by Sai Tamhankar. The movie’s teaser was recently released.
