Vijay Sethupathi Opts Out Of Laal Singh Chaddha

South superstar is fast growing an incredible reputation and being the most sought after star in Bollywood. The actor was in fact personally offered a role by the lead actor Aamir Khan in his film Laal Singh Chaddha. However the actor walked out of the project after having accepted the offer a year ago. There have been many speculations surrounding his exit. One of them is that Vijay Sethupathi could not lose enough weight for his role and thus decided to leave the film. However the actor himself clears the air about that rumor.

 

Vijay clarifies that he is a huge fan of Aamir Khan and became even more respectful to him after meeting him in person. It would have been an honor to work with the legendary perfectionist of Bollywood however due to the pandemic, things went haywire last year. Sethupathi was to star in 5 Telugu movies that were stuck in various stages of production and thus he couldn’t commit himself to Laal Singh Chaddha even though he wanted to. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead and is the remake of Hollywood classic Forrest Gump.
