The director’s next film will be ‘Shankar Patil On Matric’, which is a comedy drama. The filmmaker says that the film will be a humorous take on the education system. Especially after the pandemic hit the country, things have become even more complicated. The film will Showcase how some families who don’t have wifi and internet are facing a different challenge. 

Viju Mane has shown Shankar Patil On Matric in a light comic way. He elaborated, “Shankar Patil On Matric' revolves around a 60-year-old man from a small village, who has been trying to clear his matric exam for the past several years. And during his 40th attempt, the govt cancels the exam due to Pandemic. And then what happens, is the real crux of the story.”
