Comedian and actor Vir Das recently shared a funny memory about his days in Bollywood. While talking about his cameo in Imtiaz Ali's Love Aaj Kal (2009), he mentioned that he was offered a massive Rs 8 lakh for what he described as a 'background extra.'

Vir joked, 'I was the most expensive background extra in the history of cinema, I think.' The character in the movie Love Aaj Kal didn't have much screen time, but he mentally subtracted that from his pay.
