Veteran actor Vira Sathidar had received great accolades for his brilliant performance un the Marathi film ‘Court’. His fan following has increased considerably since. Unfortunately the actor contracted the deadly corona virus recently and was hospitalized and was receiving appropriate treatment for the same. Things however went out of hand and the actor passed away.  Maharashtrachi Hasya Jatra actor Gaurav More wrote a heartfelt tribute to the actor that wrote, “कोर्ट सिनेमाचे प्रमुख अभिनेते वीरा साथीदार ह्यांचे कोरोना ने निधन.भावपूर्ण श्रद्धांजली.”

Court is a National award wining film that deals with the Indian legal system through the Mumbai Sessions Court. It depicts the trial of an aged singer, Narayan Kamble. The film is written and directed by Chaitanya Tamhane. Vira was also an activist and social worker.
