Wanted criminal traced working at Salman Khan’s bungalow

Shakti Siddheshwar Rana, 62 was charged with committing a robbery about 29 years back. He was arrested but later got bail and was never found again in his Worli home. Several Non Bailable warrants had been issued against Rana but he had been evading the law. He started working with actor Salman Khan some 15 years ago and has been the caretaker of the Bharat actor’s Gorai beach bungalow. After information was received about Rana’s whereabouts, his location was traced inside the actor’s home in Gorai.

 

Rana has been arrested and has also confessed to his crime. He is booked under Sections 452 (house-trespass after preparation for hurt, assault or wrongful restraint), 394 (voluntarily causing hurt in committing robbery) and 397 (robbery, or dacoity, with the attempt to cause death or grievous hurt) of the Indian Penal Code. Salman Khan meanwhile will next be seen with Sonakshi Sinha in Dabangg 3.
