Bollywood action star Hrithik Roshan and South superstar Junior NTR’s film War 2 completed 4 days in theatres on Sunday. The YRF action entertainer collected ₹31.3 crore on its fourth day. With this, the total collection so far stands at ₹173.91 crore. According to media reports, the budget of War 2 is ₹400 crore. In such a situation, the film has recovered nearly half of its budget in its opening weekend.
War 2 is the sixth installment in YRF’s spy universe. It set a record as the biggest opening film of 2025 by collecting ₹52 crore on its opening day at the box office. On the second and third day, the film earned ₹57.35 crore and ₹33.25 crore respectively. Earning ₹31 crore on the fourth day, War 2 has reached a total collection of ₹173.60 crore.
War 2 ranks at the 6th position in the list of top 10 highest-grossing Bollywood films released this year by surpassing Kesari 2 (₹92.59 crore), Sikandar (₹110.36 crore), Sky Force (₹113.62 crore), and Aamir Khan’s Sitare Zameen Par (₹166.18 crore).
'War 2' has also overtaken Ajay Devgn’s Raid 2 (₹173.44 crore) and has now become the fourth highest-grossing film of 2025.
