Ever since Yash Raj Films unveiled the trailer of Mardaani 3, the Indian Women’s Cricket Team’s captain Harmanpreet Kaur is moved so much so she has called for swift and exemplary punishment for the perpetrators of crime against women and young girls. 


The much acclaimed franchise, Mardaani 3 has focused on the crime against women which has been highlighted in the film on issues the young girls aged 8 to 9 from low income group are facing. They are kidnapped for a specific reason across our country. 


The captain of the Indian Women’s Cricket Team took to Instagram stories to share the trailer of the film and pen her thoughts over it. She wrote it’s the need of the hour for the crime against women! Mardaani 3 trailer is insane . Cant wait to watch the film but a swift and quick example should be set with the punishment to the culprits. Harmanpreet also thanked the police force of the country for constantly trying to protect our girls , the women of India. She wrote, ‘Love our police force who are always there to protect us every day’

Harmanpreet Kaur Bhullar is an Indian cricketer who plays as an all-rounder and captains the Indian women's national team. She captained the Indian team that won the 2025 Women's Cricket World Cup, the Women's Asia Cup in 2012, 2016 and 2022, and the gold medal in the 2022 Asian Games.


Under her captaincy, the Indian women's team achieved its first bilateral Women's One Day International (WODI) away series win against England since 1999 in 2022, the first-ever Test victory over Australia in 2023, and the first Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) series win against England in 2025. She was also a member of the Indian team that won the silver medal in the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
