Anupam Kher-Starrer Family Entertainer ‘Shiv Shastri Balboa’ Trailer Out!

Recently, the movie Shiv Shastri Balboa released a trailer. The film, which features Neena Gupta and Anupam Kher in the lead roles, appears to be a lighthearted drama about self-discovery and conveys the message that it is never too late to pursue one's dreams.

A retired Shiv Shastri, played by Kher, who is a huge Rocky fan, is shown off in the trailer. After that, he moves to the United States to be closer to his son, where he experiences a life he had never known before his grandson is unaware of Rocky and does not enjoy boxing. Neena Gupta, a neighbor from Hyderabad, becomes his friend, and the two of them form an unlikely friendship. They do everything in their power to help Neena get back to India, meeting a lot of new people along the way.

“Shiv Shastri, a retiree from India and a big fan of the movie Rocky, moves to the USA and ends up on an unexpected road trip through the American heartland which teaches that it's never too old to reinvent yourself,” Anupam Kher wrote when he shared the trailer on his YouTube channel. Ajay Venugopalan is the director of Shiv Shastri Balboa, which also stars Jugal Hansraj, Nargis Fakhri, and Sharib Hashmi. On February 10, it will be shown in theaters.
