Bhumi Pednekar has been known to play unconventional roles right from the beginning of her career. She will now effortlessly get into the character of a 60 year old sharpshooter along with Tapsee Pannu in Saand Ki Aankh.
She proved her mettle in Dum Laga Ke Haisha by putting on 30 Kgs to play an overweight house wife opposite Ayushmann Khurrana. In Saand Ki Aankh, Bhumi has trained to shoot the rifle in 35 days. Playing the role of India’s oldest women sharpshooters Chandro, Bhumi says this movie gives a message of women empowerment.
